The Wide Lad micro jig casts well in calm conditions, and  works best with a flutter while sinking between jigs. High currents and strong wind will make it hard to get the jig to the bottom, however, the ability to work the lure slowly is perfect for less aggressive demersal fish in winter, like Jew Fish or Flathead.

Both sides have a curved profile with a small cut out and is designed to flutter on a slack line while sinking. Working the lure with a few jerks and hitting the bottom regularly will catch fish that are sitting deep in winter, or lurkers that prefer to stay closer to the bottom like Jew Fish.

Worth noting, some fish will hit the lure while it sits motionless on the bottom.

There are a variety of colours in each 10 pack and come rigged with a treble and single hook.

10 and 15 gram options are great for estuary fishing for Flathead and Jewfish with a typical bream setup while the larger sizes are better with a heavier class of gear for larger target species like Salmon, King Fish or Bonito.

Hooks are of higher strength than the line calsses that should be used. Stength demonstrations pictured show 5kg as the limit of where the hook begins to deform.
